Finned Air Heater
Finned Tubular Heaters are designed for use in natural and forced convection space heating, circulation heating of low temperature air, other atmospheres and gases. Typical applications include forced convection heating of air, process atmospheres, and oven atmospheres in duct environments.
Some applications require stainless steel materials for corrosion resistance. The most efficient finned heaters are made with steel sheath and steel fins. Steel is normally used for air heating, stainless steel for atmospheres which are humid or corrosive for salt-laden humid atmospheres. Keep in mind that stainless heaters with stainless fins are very inefficient since the heat transfer rate of stainless is less than one quarter that for steel.
Features
1). Mechanically-bonded continuous fin assures excellent heat transfer and helps prevent fin vibration at high air velocities.
2). Tube diameter: 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 14mm, 16mm, 18mm, 20mm
3). Several standard formations and mounting bushings available.
4). Standard fin is SUS304, other Sheath and fin material available
5).120V, 208V, 240V, 480V available, Special voltage/wattages available
6). Max. Sheath Temperature 750F (400°C) – Steel 900F (480°C) - ST./INCOLY
7). Various shape: straight type, U-type, W-type, Round type and so on.
1). Threaded fitting for mounting
2). Ceramic to metal end seals for high temperature or corrosive environments
3). Other sheath and fin materials
4). High temperature ceramic coating
5). Custom bracket mountings
6). Custom terminal options
7). Also available in smaller diameter unit
